- Clarification & Repair Drills — pair work with unclear/unfamiliar audio prompts; practice "Did you mean X or Y?" / "Could you rephrase that last point?"
- Information Gap Tasks (under time pressure) — pairs solve a task with missing information and a time limit; forces pausing and confirming instead of guessing.
- Diverse Accent Listening — audio/video from Indian, Japanese, Nigerian, British, and other speakers; focus on message, not accent-matching.
- Active Listening & Paraphrasing — one participant explains a situation, the other summarizes and confirms understanding before responding.
- Micro-Teaching & Adaptation Workshops — participants adapt the activities they experienced into lesson plans for their own classrooms.
